++Thirty communities in the state of Guerrero are under red alert. Extreme rains are expected as Eduardo passes through.
++High probabilities of intense storms in the states of Chiapas, Jalisco, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Guanajuato, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí. Strong rains expected in the State of Mexico, Colima, Nayarit, Tabasco, Aguascalientes, Morelos, Hidalgo, Puebla, Tlaxcala and Mexico City.
++ Three people were killed, rivers flooded over and more than 200
homes were damaged with 1,200 people forced from their homes in Veracruz in the
wake of tropical storm Ernesto…
The National Water Commission said that tropical storm Ernesto was
losing strength and became a tropical depression but could regain strength and
turn into a hurricane over the Pacific Ocean, affecting Guerrero state.
++ Heavy rains in Oaxaca killed a 12-year-old boy when a landslide
knocked down two homes in La Cañada region.
++ Petróleos
Mexicanos issued an alert asking industries in central and western Mexico to
lower their gas consumption because tropical storm Ernesto had damaged the
national pipeline system.

I hate to tell you, but the map from the Weather Channel does not lie. It will be a wet weekend in most of Mexico, especially central Mexico as Ernest remants crash through the area. Also there is ANOTHER tropical storm looming in the horizon. For more info check the Weather Channel.

Ernesto is heading your way…Category One Hurricane Ernesto hit landfall
in Quintana Roo early Wednesday morning… A red alert for maximum danger was in
place in five townships in central and southern Quintana Roo. The Yucatán
government called on citizens to remain calm and stay informed about the path
the hurricane is following… All ports are closed to navigation in Yucatán.

Volcán Popocatépetl - Tochimilco
In the last 24 hours the monitoring system of Popocatepetl volcano registered 41 exhalations of low to medium amplitude, accompanied by emissions of water vapor and gas. It is possible that some of them were accompanied by some ash, but could only confirm one due to cloud cover. There have also been detected tremor isolated segments of low amplitude.
